MARCH SEES JUSTIN BURFORD, ODETTE MERCY, MORGAN BAIN, RTR FM AND MUCH MORE AT THE SEWING ROOM
March is shaping up as a huge month for Perth’s coolest new nightclub and live music venue The Sewing Room with former End of Fashion frontman Justin Burford launching his band Coco Blu’s new video on Saturday March 10 with a stellar supporting line-up.
The previous night March 9 Odette Mercy and Her Soul Atomics unveil their first show for 2018 with the launch of their Heartbrake Dance single, while a week later local favourites Morgan Bain and The Milford Street Shakers also hit the stage.
Morgan Bain will play his Farewell WA gig prior to departing for Melbourne for an indefinite period, while the Milford Street Shakers are building a strong monthly following at the venue for their high energy Motown inspired shows.
March will also see RTRFM take over the entire venue from 7pm to 3am on Saturday March 31 to celebrate 20 years of Soulsides and 35 Years of Drastic on Plastic with more than 15 of RTRFM's influential DJs performing over two stages, plus JB's JBs, WA finest bass player and funky mastermind John Brown performing tunes from legendary band The J.B’s, James Brown’s backing band.
The Sewing Room is Perth’s newest live music venue and nightclub located in the Basement, Wolf Lane, 317 Murray Street, Perth and has a 5am licence.
